Building Connectedness

Diverse by Design

Tennessee Nature Academy believes that effective learning helps students better understand themselves and build connections to others, to their community, and to the world. We celebrate the diversity of all members in our community.

At TNA, we work towards equity by forging connectedness and inclusion with people and nature, people and other people, and with students and future opportunities.

Our founders have completed a fellowship with the Diverse Charter Schools Coalition (DCSC) to ensure all components of our school model will meet the needs of the diverse learners in our community.

We constantly audit for an equitable environment in which all practices are anti-racist and fair and just to all. As an equal opportunity employer, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
