The best learning reveals an insight, provides a service, or builds habits and practices that can be applied to future challenges. For this reason, Tennessee Nature Academy students use what they learn to make a positive impact in their community and in the environment.
Located in a “food desert,” our students have the opportunity to learn by working on our schoolyard farm– the produce of which goes to benefit the community.
As students learn about the world around them, they also learn ways to help with local conservation efforts. Tune back in soon to see the Citizen Science projects our students will participate in!
